Our Mission

Bellbowrie Drama Academy believes in teaching by ‘doing’.
With small classes and experienced teachers, the lessons are student centred to develop the abilities of each pupil.
We believe in a fun, learning environment to carve a pathway to confidence, cooperation, and belief in oneself.
We are an academy that believes every child has abilities to develop and should be comfortable and confident in their own skin.
We are a new endeavour and before we launch into full blown productions (which we are planning down the track) we want to instil a love of theatre and drama, the courage to take risks in a supportive environment and for our students to gain the confidence to speak in front of a group of their peers.
Their success is our priority. To support our inclusive community, we provide a personal approach, tailoring learning methods to each student's needs.
We have classes available for ages 5 up to 15.
Our classes are capped with only a few spaces left for term 1!

Dedicated Educators
Jane Kilalea is a primary school drama teacher and actress. She has performed and directed plays at the Edinburgh Festival one of which won best of the fringe.
She has produced and directed numerous theatrical productions, school plays and musicals around the world as well as presenting tv and radio herself.
She specialises in teaching drama to students from 6 years old to adults.
Sarah Kilalea has a BA hons in acting from the Arts Education School of Acting in London and is Trinity and LAMDA certified.
Her background as a film and theatre actress, director and producer led her into radio where she became a breakfast and drive presenter in Dubai and then Program Director and Presenter of JOY 94.9, a radio station in Melbourne with a listenership of 550,000.
She has taught drama in both Zimbabwe and London to students from the ages of 4 to 18 years old.
Our Pricing
First class is FREE
Prep - Grade 2 $19 per 30 min class paid per term
Grade 3 - Grade 6 $21 per 45min class
Both Located at Moggill State School Instrumental Room
$10 off for second and $20 off for third siblings.
